Ingredients
For marinate
- 300g chicken dices
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¾ tablespoon cumin powder
- 2 tablespoon yogurt
For outer coating
- 3 tablespoon refined flour (maida)
- 2 tablespoon corn flour
- 1 tablespoon rice flour
- Salt to taste
For Tempering
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 2 chopped green chilli
- Handful of curry leaves
METHOD
For Marinate
- In a bowl take chicken dices.
- Add lemon juice, salt, garlic paste, ginger paste, red chilli powder, black pepper, cumin powder and yogurt.
- Mix it so that all the flavor can get absorbed by chicken.
- Keep it aside.
For outer coating
- Take a bowl add refined flour, corn flour, rice flour and salt.
- Give it a mix.
- Dunk the chicken pieces in the flour.
- Make a light coating.
- Heat oil and deep fry the chicken till it becomes nice crunchy outside.
- Take it out and keep it aside.
For tempering
- Heat the oil.
- Add chopped garlic. Sauté it.
- Add green chilli and sauté it. Don’t let the garlic turn brown.
- Add handful of curry leaves.
- Add chicken and toss it.
- Before removing add coriander leaves.
- Toss it 3 times.
- For plating garnish with some coriander leaves.
