Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
  • 1 bowl roasted vermicelli
  • 2 bowls of water


Method


  1. Heat the oil in a pan.
  2. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  3. Add onion fry till golden brown and add tomato and fry till oil separates add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. 
  4. Add roasted vermicelli and add water and close the lid of pan let it get cooked and water evaporate.
  5. Add coriander leaves and serve.




SERVING SUGGESTIONS:- SERVE IT WITH KETCHUP OR GREEN CHUTNEY AND YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN TWIST BY ADDNIG CURRY LEAVES,URAD DAL , PEANUTS ETC

How To make Chicken 65 At Home | Spicy Chicken 65 Recipe | Chicken 65 Recipe

Ingredients


For marinate

  • 300g chicken dices
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¾ tablespoon cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoon yogurt


For outer coating

  • 3 tablespoon refined flour (maida)
  • 2 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour
  • Salt to taste


For Tempering

  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 2 chopped green chilli
  • Handful of curry leaves



METHOD

For Marinate
  1. In a bowl take chicken dices.
  2. Add lemon juice, salt, garlic paste, ginger paste, red chilli powder, black pepper, cumin powder and yogurt.
  3. Mix it so that all the flavor can get absorbed by chicken.
  4. Keep it aside.


For outer coating

  1. Take a bowl add refined flour, corn flour, rice flour and salt.
  2. Give it a mix.
  3. Dunk the chicken pieces in the flour.
  4. Make a light coating.
  5. Heat oil and deep fry the chicken till it becomes nice crunchy outside.
  6. Take it out and keep it aside.


For tempering

  1. Heat the oil.
  2. Add chopped garlic. Sauté it.
  3. Add green chilli and sauté it. Don’t let the garlic turn brown.
  4. Add handful of curry leaves.
  5. Add chicken and toss it.
  6. Before removing add coriander leaves.
  7. Toss it 3 times.
  8. For plating garnish with some coriander leaves.



SERVING SUGESSTIONS: - SERVE IT HOT MORE THEY STAY TOGETHER WARM THEY STAY .

How to make Lemon Rice at Home | Lemon Rice Recipe

Lemon rice also known chitranna is a famous South Indian rice dish. The dish is especially popular in the south Indian state of Karnataka, where it has become a part of the daily diet. Characteristic for the seasoning are mustard seeds, fried lentils, peanuts*, curry leaves, chillies, lemon juice. Added Turmeric powder give lemon rice its yellow color. Garlic and onions are also used in the seasoning by some, although traditionally they do not form part of the recipe. Its easy to make and healthy so try it and share your feedback.


Ingredients 


  • 2 dry red chilli
  • 2 green chillies
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 
  • 1 teaspoon Split Black gram (urad dal) 
  • 1 onion chopped
  • Ghee/cooking oil
  • Salt as per taste 
  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  • 1plate  Cooked rice
  • ½  teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • Peanuts*


Method


  1. Heat the pan .Add oil or ghee.
  2. Splutter mustard seed and urad dal.
  3. Then add red chillies, green chillies, curry leaves and onion.
  4. Saute for 2 min.
  5. Add turmeric add cooked rice.
  6. Add salt.
  7. Lower the flame and add lemon juice.
  8. Switch off gas and mix rice properly.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup chopped pineapple 
  • 1 cup Coconut paste 
  • 3 Green chilli chopped
  • 1-2 Red chilli
  • Small piece ginger finely chopped
  • Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves 
  • 2 cup curd
  • Salt as per taste


METHOD

  1. Take a saucepan. Add pineapple, green chilies, ginger and water.
  2. Cook it with lid covered.
  3. Add the coconut paste and cook well.
  4. Turn off the flame. Add curd and mix properly.
  5. Add salt as per taste.
  6. Heat oil in another pan.
  7. Add mustard seed. Let it splutter and add curry leaves and red chilli.
  8. Add the tadka to the mixture of pineapple,coconut,ginger and chilli.


Serving suggestions: - Serve it as a side dish with Rice.

How To Make Plain Rava Dosa At Home


Rava dosa is famous a South Indian dish . Which is commonly served in every restaurant in India.   • 1 cup rava,sooji(semolina)
  • 1 cup rice flour
  • ½ cup curd
  • 2-3 cup of water
  • Add salt as per taste
  • 1 Eno (fruit salt) / ½ tablespoon activated yeast
  • Oil, Butter or Ghee for greasing



 Method

  1. Take rava,rice flour and curd in a bowl.
  2. Add water. 
  3. Make a mixture.
  4. Add salt ,Add ENO/activated yeast.
  5. Keep it aside for 1 hour.

For  Making

  1. Heat the tava.  
  2. Grease it with little oil.
  3. Pour 1 serving spoon of the mixture on the tawa spread it evenly.
  4. Cook it evenly from both sides.

SERVING SUGESTIONS :-Serve it with Sambar or Coconut Chutney.

  • 1cup rava, sooji (semolina)

  • 4-5 green chilli silted
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 1.5 cup water

METHOD

  1. Fry rava till t become golden in a pan and keep it aside.
  2. Heat the ghee. Add onion, carrot beans, peas, green chilli and curry leaves.
  3. Stir it for a minute .
  4. Add water and salt. Make it boil. Then add fried rava with constant stirring to avoid lumps.
  5. Keep stirring till water gets evaporated.
  6. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.



Serving suggestion: Serve it with coconut chutney.

How to Make South Indian Style Sambar at Home

Ingredients


  • 100g toor/arhar  dal (Pigeon Pea)
  • 100g kaddoo (Pumpkin)
  • 50g cauliflower
  • 1 diced potato
  • 2 chopped onion
  • 2 diced tomato
  • 100g drumstick
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • Pinch of hing(Asafetida)
  • 2 tablespoonspoon sambar masala powder
  • 2 whole dried chilli
  • ½ teaspoon coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 tablespoon tamarind pulp
  • 50g oil
  • 1.5 l water
  • 1 tablespoon salt

 Method

  1. Boil toor dal in a pressure cooker and the remove the foam as it appears.
  2. Add turmeric powder,1 tablespoon sambar masala powder and add 1tablespoon salt.
  3. Add kaddu, cauliflower, potato, onion.
  4. Cook it till 3 -4 whistle.
  5. Add tamarind pulp after the whistle. Make it boil for 1 minute.
  6. (Mash all the veggies )*
  7. keep it aside

For  Tadka:-


  1. Heat oil
  2. Add curry leaves, mustard seeds,add 2 whole dried chilli,add pinch of hing,add sambar masala and coriander powder..
  3. Add tomato. Stir the masala till it leaves oil.
  4. sauté it till it leaves oil.

Final Mix:-


  1. Add the dal mixture in to the tadka masala.
  2. Make it boil for 1 minute.                                                                              
  3. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves , fried curry leaves and fried whole red chilli.





SERVING SUGGESTIONS :- Can serve it with Dosa ,Idly ,Vada and Rice .

  •  ½  teaspoon Jeera(cumin )
  • 2 Whole dried red chilli
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger
  • Green chilli slitted one
  • pinch of Hing(Asafoetida)
  • 10 Curry leaves
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 cup cooked rice 
  • mixture of 1 cup Curd and 1½ cup butter milk
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 tablespoon oil


Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add mustard seeds, jeera let it splutter
  3. Add a pinch of hing ,dried red chilli, green chilli, ginger and curry leaves saute for 1 min.
  4. Lower the flame and add the mixture of curd and butter milk with constant stirring to avoid coagulation of curd then add rice. 
  5.  Add salt as per taste.
  6. Garnish it with some green grapes ,fresh coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds .
Serving suggestionServe it with any pickle or sun dried curd chillies.
