Ingredients
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 tomato chopped
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 black cardamom
- 2 green cardamom
- 4 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- ½ Star anise
- 200gm chicken
- 3 bowl basmati rice
- 2 tablespoon ghee
- 1 tablespoon warm milk with saffron
- 1 table spoon red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
Method
- Heat the ghee in cooker.
- Add cinnamon stick, black cardamom, green cardamom, cloves,
bay leaf, star anise.
- Add onion fry till golden brown.
- Add chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, garam
masala powder. Saute it for a minute.
- Add tomato and chicken. Fry till the chicken get coated with masala and masala
starts leaving ghee.
- Add soaked basmati rice, add salt and add 3 bowl of water.
- Pressure cook till 1 whistle.
- Let the pressure release open the lid and add saffron milk.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:- SERVE IT WITH CURD OR CHICKEN KORMA.
