How To Make Restaurant Style Chilli Paneer At Home | Chilli Paneer Recipe

Ingredients


  • 350g paneer cubes (cottage cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoon corn flour


FOR SAUCE

  • ½ tablespoon red chilli powder
  • ½ tablespoon ginger
  • ½ tablespoon garlic
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ¼ cup diced capsicum
  • ¼ cup red and yellow capsicum
  • 1 green chilli
  • 2 ¼ tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon ketchup
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Dash of water
  • ½ tablespoon vinegar
  • Handful spring onion


METHOD


  1. Take paneer cubes in a bowl.
  2. Add chilli powder, salt and corn flour.
  3. Mix it so that paneer gets coated with the spices.
  4. Deep fry the paneer cubes.
  5. Take it out when it become golden in colour.
  6. Keep it aside.


FOR SAUCE

  1. Take 2 small containers and dissolve red chilli powder and ½ tablespoon of corn flour with 1 tablespoon of water respectively.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan.
  3. Add ginger and garlic. Give it a quick stir.
  4. Add onion, green, red and yellow capsicum. Give it a nice stir.
  5. Add green chilli and red chilli solution.
  6. Add soy sauce, ketchup and pinch of sugar. Give it a quick boil.
  7. Add dash of water.
  8. Add corn flour solution.
  9. *If you want gravy chilli paneer you can add more water.
  10. Add fried paneer and toss it.
  11. Add vinegar and spring onion.
  12. Add dash of water so that the flavour gets mixed up.
  13. Give it a mix and turn off the flame.
  14. Garnish it with Spring onion.



SERVING SUGGESTIONS:- SERVE IT SOLO AS A SNACK OR SERVE IT AS SIDE DISH WITH NOODLE OR FRIED RICE.
